We provide in-person behavioral health care for children, adolescents, and young adults in the Mid-Shore area. Care is provided in a welcoming environment, by kind and nonjudgmental people.
We believe that the patient is the expert on themselves, and we encourage them to be the leader in planning their treatment.
We know that every person is unique and individual, and we prioritize having the time to listen and learn. At Shore Mental Health, we work closely with each individual to create achievable and realistic goals, resulting in an increased sense of confidence and belief that change is possible.
What is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)?
To become a PMNHP, one must complete a bachelor’s degree in nursing and pass the national licensure examination to become a registered nurse.
Nurses typically work for several years before returning to school and earning their master's degree or doctorate in psychiatric nursing.
Tracy Hulseman, PMHNP-C
Tracy began her nursing career at Easton Memorial Hospital as a nursing aide. She then completed her Associate’s Degree in Nursing at Wor Wic Community College. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at University of Maryland and earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Tracy specializes in the psychiatric care of children, adolescents and young adults and is known to say that she “has the best job in the world.” She puts patients of all ages at ease with her empathetic, caring demeanor and quickly develops rapport with young patients.
